Welcome! I am honored and grateful that you are here. I have worked in various capacities in clinical settings, nonprofit organizations and volunteer positions offering healing and services to individuals, couples, and families for almost 20 years. I am a Certified Gestalt Therapist and a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator – Clinician, which is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. Through a present centered, experiential approach, I invite my clients to practice identifying and increasing their awareness of the patterns and defenses no longer serving them. In doing this work, I believe that no one is broken, and everyone is worthy of love and connection. I believe in striving to live a wholehearted life with authenticity and integrity. I will show up and challenge my clients to do the same for themselves.
The most difficult process a person can engage in is the process of self-reflection, awareness, and having a commitment to own their story. To understand who you are, how your behaviors and actions are driven by emotions, while staying curious about the process, creates space that can lead to transformative experiences. If you seek to become more aware of who you are, to understand the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and want to integrate both the parts of you that you love as well as the parts of yourself that you struggle to tolerate, then I invite you to do your work with me.
The therapeutic relationship is unique in that it is an opportunity for clients to be in a space that allows for reflection, developing new awareness and then integrating new ways towards living a wholehearted life. I offer compassion, empathy and feedback that facilitates growth and individual accountability. I invite and challenge clients to identify and own the behaviors. no longer serving them, as well as the actions that serve to empower and move them forward.
We will work together to unravel core beliefs that are no longer serving you and work to create a new practice in living with clear boundaries, integrity, self-compassion, and gratitude.
